The Wrestler is a very good movie. The acting is great and the movie is well paced. I’m a little on the conservative side and gave it a lower rating because of all the drugs, alcohol, and sex scenes. Hey, it was about a wrestler so what should I expect? It is worth checking out. Just don’t take the kids.

Republicans call the stimulus plan recently passed as wasteful. These are the same politicians who racked up trillions of dollars in debt during their eight years in charge. Debt that was accumulated while the economy was doing well.
Now, when the economy is tanking and all economic common sense says governments role as the spender of last resort should get the economy going by stimulation, they decide we should not spend. Are they insane or just plain stupid?
Republicans are demonstrating one more time they can only think of two things. Tax breaks for the wealthy and tax breaks for the wealthy. Their economic rhetoric is insane.
The time trials are taking place in Sacramento as this entry is made. Around 100,000 people headed towards the downtown area to cheer on bicycling’s best.
