This site is not associated with Life Line.  My family lost an important member to a massive heart attack caused by clogged arteries.  In an ironic twist, the week of Diamond Dave’s passing his wife Jeanne received a pamphlet in the mail from Life Line Screening. She will be doing the screening and describe her experience in a later post. Below is a testimony from one of Jeanne’s friends who did the Life Line Screening a couple years ago. “First, let me again say how very sorry Lon & I are for the loss of Diam.  We were not in town at the time of his Celebration of Life, or we would have surely been there.

What I do want to tell you, is, the Life Line Screening program is awesome!  I did it this past April because my medical insurance company sent me a letter with Life Lines’ information and recommended I go through the screening.  I did.  It was a proactive, catch a problem early, kind of program.  I had to pay out of pocket for it, but it was inexpensive and very informative.  A copy went to my primary care doctor and a copy to me.  It is well worth the time and $$.  I think it was $125.00 and covered Carotid Artery Disease, Atrial Fibrillation, Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm, Peripheral Arterial Disease and Osteoporosis.

I dare say that everyone should take advantage of this opportunity because many lives could be saved with a little bit of “heads up” knowledge.  It’s so inexpensive, there is no excuse not to take advantage, once you know about it.
